Paneer do pyaza is a very popular vegetarian recipe from north India. It is prepared by using paneer chunks dipped into a luscious and spicy gravy.
Ingredients Of Paneer Do Pyaza
- 150 gms Paneer
- 1/2 Cup Tomato puree
- 1/2 Cup Onion paste
- 1/2 Cup Onion (cubed)
- 2 Cardamom
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- To taste Salt
- 2 Green chillies
- 1 Tbsp Chopped coriander
- 1 tsp Kasoori methi
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
How to Make Paneer Do Pyaza
- 1.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, cardamom, green chillies and let it splutter.
- 2.Now add, ginger garlic paste and onion paste. Cook until onion paste gets little brownish in colour.
- 3.Add tomato puree and cook for 3-5 minutes. Then add salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and saute for a minute.
- 4.Add water and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- 5.Add cubed onions and paneer into the gravy, cover the lid and cook for 5 mins again.
- 6.Now add kasoori methi and mix well.
- 7.Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapatis!
